Hill Communications is a nationally affiliated, award-winning, student-run public relations firm. It operates as a subsidiary the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications W. P. Ehling chapter of PRSSA. Hill Communications works with local and national clients, and it provides an opportunity to gain real world experience with a variety of brands. |

Our History
|
Our chapter is officially named in honor of Dr. William P. Ehling, the founder and faculty advisor of Syracuse University's PRSSA. He served in this role from 1968 to 1990.
Dr. Ehling was chairman of the public relations department at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, and a founding member of the Central New York PRSA Chapter. A leader in setting standards for public relations education, he founded and directed the undergraduate, master’s and PhD programs in public relations. In 1988, he was named “Outstanding Educator of the Year.” We continue to honor Dr. Ehling by upholding our mission and his standards of excellence. |
